Update messages can be misleading. Malicious software and Windows corruption have been the result for many. The safest place to get updates is directly from the manufacturers website. If you haven't updated lately, you should go to Adobe's website to update both the Adobe Flash Player and the Adobe Reader. Learn more at the Everything Channel. No anti-virus is failsafe, but you should have one. By sales figures, some of the top ranking antivirus companies include Norton, McAfee, Computer Associates, Kaspersky, Trend Micro, etc. There are lots of opinions about who's the best, but it is important to have an antivirus. It is also important to update your antivirus, as well as, Adobe, Microsoft, and JAVA products. Microsoft releases security updates on the second Tuesday of each month. Where do viruses coming from?
